I just wondered what oil filters everyone runs. i heard not to use fram just wanted to know what everyone else thinks the best filter is.

motorcraft is what i use usually...
motorcraft fl1a. thinking about doing an oil bypass filtration system tho with a better filter.

whoever the hell makes them. Motorcraft is fords brand so thats what i put on my truck.

my 2.9 has always used napa gold.

my twin turbo 300zx only uses OEM nissan.

ever seen a cut up cheapo filter? junk paper filter, cheap spring, bad flow, not where i'd id cut a corner

All of our fords get Motorcraft, my brother uses Fram on his XJ.

Wix or NAPA. The Napa filters used to be a Wix with the NAPA name on them. Not sure if that's still true.

I use motorcraft... I used to use fram. My trucks motor could take them however my Moms subaru was not up to the task... went though 3 motors.

I've always run Motorcraft, occasionally there is a promotion at the local O'Reilly Store. (5qts of Mobile 1 with a Mobile1 Filter for cheap).
