Hey everyone. Just picked up a 1994 Ranger XLT Supercab in Cayman Green, 4.0L 5 speed manual. Got it for a trade for an old ATV. 106k miles, new tires, shocks, brakes. Almost no rust! Just a little surface corrosion on the frame and a couple of rock chips that developed a bit of surface rust. It was towed behind a motor home when new, and probably 30k to 40k of the mileage was from being flat towed.
Got a few issues, but nothing serious, especially for a 26+ year old truck. Perfect for hauling crap on and for our property. Replaced the right rear wheel cylinder, a good buff and wax, new plugs, and it's running like a champ.
This is my 3rd Ranger, but the first one in a dozen years. Posted my 1st question in the 1983-2011 Mini Truck forum looking for a latch assembly for the center console. I know I'll have questions as time goes on.
