Is it possible to swap the 4L OHC into my 94 Splash 4WD?

Yes, you can put in any engine you want, it's a free country
The free part is of course the choice of engines, as for the cost, that won't be free

How hard a swap is and costly depends on what engine you have now.

If you have a 4.0l OHV then you can just swap engines, your existing computer, trans, motor mounts, and wiring can be used.
If 4cyl or 3.0l then you have to swap it all, engine, computer, trans, motor mounts, and wiring

Is this true if the vehicle it's going in isn't OBD2? The OP's 94 isn't OBD2, and everything the SOHC 4.0 was ever used in was OBD2. I've seen posts that an OHV PCM can run a SOHC but I figured that it would still have to be an OBD2 system.
