The other night I was driving in the dark, it was late and nobody else was out so I flipped on the lights on the grille guard on my F-150 (Hella 500FF's) to see any potential oncoming deer. All was great until I saw the glow of another car coming up the other side of the hill I was climbing so I flipped the highbeams off and then flipped the Hella's off. The second I touched the switch to my Hella's my Zune MP3 player kicked off and restarted. I did it again later and it happened again, it has never done this before.
Only thing I can come up with is for the briefest of moments the alternator is still putting out to maintian the charge with all the lights on and there is a spike which the Zune doesn't care for... but with the little headphone jack-like cord between the Zune and the stereo I wouldn't think there would only be any power going to the Zune anyway. I checked and I did have the charger unplugged from the cigarette lighter, the only thing connecting it to truck was the little headphone like cord.
