Offroad Light Install

If I bridged the two tabs, I would also have to move my license plate, because Nebraska is stupid and requires a front plate... you'd have to have pretty good eyesight and reflexes to read the front plate when you drive past it... I'd probably just move it onto the bracket or something... So for right now, no, but maybe at a later time.

Hahaha, i guess i didnt think about the license plate. I just thought it was a cool squiggly vanity plate..lol:icon_rofl:

Ya its all fine and dandy, until you have rocks kicked off of the truck in front of you crack the lenses...then those stupid socks dont look so stupid. :D

This has happened to me, i should point out. :icon_thumby:

Yep, hopefully my covers come in soon... I may email KC just to check, I'd like to get some of the ones that just have a grille for it, but I'm not sure they make them for this light...

Too late.

I went and aligned my lights after the rain stopped, aimed them along side the brights, and they light up about 10ft on each side of the road... I just need one more light in the middle to make it even. I'm happy with them. I will try to get some pictures of the beams tomorrow night.

Alrighty, finally got some pictures of the beam patterns for you guys. They may not look like much but they really do help light up the ditches. Let me know what you think! Thanks :icon_thumby:

The pictures are kinda sucky, my camera doesn't take the best pics at night... On the way home though I did light up a deer with them before the brights did...

The one thing I notice when I'm driving is that I need a 3rd light between the two to cover the center of the two beams...

Headlights Only:

IMO, the 4th & 5 pictures down demonstrates the lights the best... but even so, the pics don't do 'em justice.

or two lights between the two! :icon_thumby: aaah...there i go tormenting you again! lol the KC's look like they are doing well, its always funny how much a photo seems to downplay something. lol i do like the ditch setup you did, and that is what i plan to do to my outside lights here soon.

You just won't give up with those lights! More more more lol :thefinger::icon_thumby:

I'd like to, but then I need to get another bracket to move my license plate lol, more fun I guess. And I think I would need to get another wiring kit, because I don't think that I could add those two lights on the same wiring, might be too much of a strain on the wiring.

Could happen sooner or later though lol. Yeah, I like having them towards the ditches and stuff.

Thanks

Why dont you cross the beams left pointing right, right pointing left get best of both worlds. or did you do that?
