My credo
Giving my truck more money than it deserves.
I have seen several other forums have a thread where people post their high mileage cars. I did a quick search here and couldn't easily find one. I figure I'll start one here. Maybe we will even find the highest mile truck on the forum!

My 1989 B2 just rolled over 240k last night.

Its had a troubled past with at least 2x 2.9L and now it has a 4.0L which may take away some of the mile cred.

I have 206k miles on my 04 with 3.0 v6

I'm relatively sure @mtnrgr has a 400k mile truck, if it's not him it's someone else on here.

My 1994 4.0l manual 4x4 has 430k km so 270k miles

All original sensors except O2s
Original bottom end, have done heads twice, lol
Trans and transfer case original just fluid changes
Computer is original with new capacitors
Original fuel pump(hope that doesn't jinx it, lol)

I have no idea how many times the '90 has rolled over but I've seen it at 0 miles twice since I got it in November of '99 showing 89k...

Both of my V8 explorers had 212k on them when I got them, the '00 has 255 on it now...

My '97 Ranger is a spring chicken since I got it at a mere 142k, it's over 180k now...

The '97 F350 has north of 350k on it, when it gets dry out the speedo stops working, it's the connection behind the speedometer (electronic), it's a solid 30 minute fix, it's only been acting up for like 4 years, don't rush me...

My F150 had just hit 250k when it got completely destroyed in an accident a few years ago. I think my 04 is about 250k, but I loaned it to a friend so I’m not 100% sure.

I have 182,000 miles on a 2007 2.3L.

195,000 on my 97. in the 17+ years I have owned it, I have replaced the radiator/ waterpump/ fan clutch, hoses, upper engine gaskets, a/c rebuild, original shocks at 190k miles, all 4 spring hangers, entire steering system from the intermediat shaft to the wheels. maybe a few other things... like a full set of tires twice

Man… I feel like a noob or something…

My blue 2000 has something like 60-70k on it.

88 Bronco II is like 112k and I still have to finish replacing the motor (original ate a valve).

89 Choptop has something like 105k and currently has the 4th or 5th motor blown up.

95 F-150 is around 148k

94 F-350 is I think around 110k and the valve guides are shot (460)

green 2000 has like 168k and getting an engine swap (engine went in my 92)

red 92 has like 172k or somewhere around there

not sure about the rest of the stuff around here that I own. Had an 89 Bronco II at college that I sold that had like 250+k on it. Dad’s 79 has like 60k on it and his 99 Ranger is like 220k

Hard to accumulate a lot of miles when you have ten trucks.
If I could keep them on the road and keep people from smashing into them I could put more miles on them. Seems like it’s always an engine, transmission, or smash that slows things down. My blue Ranger, green Ranger and F-150 are the only ones that haven’t eaten a motor so far. The green one I thought had eaten a motor (or at least blew the rear main), but it turned out not to be the case after pulling it and a close examination. The blue and red ones were both victims of a smash. The choptop eats motors like candy though. I’m about ready to try rebuilding a motor specifically for it in hopes that I’ll finally get one to last in it.

The last time my Ranger's tag was renewed, I had a little argument with the DMV lady. Truck showed around 75K, {the odo got dust in it at some point and worked intermittently for a few years} in 2012, it's a 2001. I have no idea how many actual miles it had.
Her - Why is there so few miles on this truck?
Me - 75K miles on a 20 yo truck. It's not the ONLY vehicle I own, so it gets drove less.
Her - Yeah, but ... Is it a farm truck or something?
Me - No. It just sat for a while and now I want to put a tag on it.
Her - Why did it sit, and for how long?
Me - It sat because it's NOT THE ONLY CAR I OWN! I don't know, a year or two. It's in the parking lot if you wanna see it.
Her - OK, lets look at it.
To my surprise, she walked with me to the parking lot to look at my Truck
Her - Oh, it's looks nice and clean.
Me - What were you expecting, an old beat up Ford Ranger
Her - Yeah, pretty much.

I'm pretty sure the '98 has about 400K on it now, 300K on the engine with the current owner. I sold it to him with about 250K on the truck and 150K on the engine and he's still driving it. Except for my CR-Vs, I don't think I've had anything over the 200K mark. Well, maybe the '79 Caprice Classic but I don't remember and didn't care much about that sort of thing then. If I remember correctly, the '82 Toyota Celica was around 200K when the road salt ate up too much of the unibody and had to be taken off the road.
