Odometer probs again

I have seen a few post on here but cant seem to find them now. I have a 95 ranger. Some times the odo and trip meter work great and other times they just sit there and wont move. How do i go about fixing this? Do I have to replace the whole guage cluster or is there a way of just repairing the odo.
