Odometer not moving

Just picked up this 1997 Ranger XLT and now find the odometer is not advancing. The speedo works flawlessly as does the tach.

Where should I start?

Mustang instructions, but it's the same.

What happens is people reset the ODO while moving and it strips the plastic gear.
Might be simpler to just replace the entire cluster.

The odometer drive gear is stripped, easy fix takes less than an hour.
