Odometer 05 Ranger

How many digits/ numbers for the miles on an 05 Ranger? 5 or six? Reason i`m asking i bought a 05 and the mileage is supposed to be really low. As of now i`m seeing 5 numbers, does the sixth number appear when it reaches 100,000 miles? Thanks

I don't know about 05 Rangers but my 02 has six numbers. Before it reached 100K miles it showed 0 on the far left. I am pretty sure 0 is considered a number.

Yes it shows up to at least 340,000
That's what mine is up to

Check brake pedal wear and driver's seat wear, if they don't match odometer reading then something is wrong, lol.

The '05' is a digital so not showing the sixth digit like the pre '04' odometers. I just bought a '99' with only 93K on it so very easy for a '05' to be low miles. In fact both the '98 & 2000 are less than 70K
