Hey fellas

Im new to the TRS group but really starting to enjoy the input I hear on here about question that I know I dont only have but other people do.
One I havent found though is this...

I just ordered some cragar soft 8's (xmas present) for my ranger I have the opportunity to get 4 bfg m/t in 31/12.5/15 for 100 bucks. My question is will the cragar soft 8's in a 15X8 fit the 31/12.5/15?

I know 33/12.5 are fine but 31s? PLease help cuz this is a great deal.

Yes, a 15x8's a perfect fit for a 9.50-12.50 width tire.

wow, 31/12.5 is an odd size. I've been told by tire shop guys that those just aren't made.

325/60R15's, only found them in metric sizing. Had a set of BFG AT's in that size once.

The rim may be a little narrow for that tire combo. You will find that it will give you good protection of the rim during off road use due to the bead will not be as easily hit by rocks. But you will find you have to underinflate them or it will wear out the center of the tread faster than the outer tread, due to it being more balloon shaped due to the narrower rim. That tire needs to go on a 10" wide rim for street use, but for off road people have been putting wide tires on narrow rims for years.

Been running 12.50 wide tires for 5 years on my ranger on a 15x8. It's daily driven, no center wear issues at all when run at 32-35psi.

I've seen a few 31x12.50 tires. My friends '79 J10 came with 31x11.50 when he bought it. Now that size I have not seen at all, nor do any of the tire shops around carry it. He's settled on a standard 31x10.50.

sasquatch thanks a million I was freakin a little about road use at all because it is my DD. Now in VA I cant put any spacer whatsoever on it for it to pass inspection. (VA IS GAY about lifting trucks) With a 3 in BL, 2 in shackles and 2 in coils should there be any rubbing problem for these tires. WHEN they flex I dont mind the rub for a second but im talking on constant wheel turn.
