Odd looking center console armrest from 02 Sport Trac

This showed up to in my local JY and I'm curious.

I'm pretty sure it's missing the console flat top that should be directly below it, but this looks very similar to what the center console armrest looks like on my 94.

But in some type of vinyl or leather. I've never seen one of these like this in the wild before. Would be cool if this would be a direct replacement for the fabric armest...

That's the same exact one that came in my 07 level II, that I still have underneath my bench.

I've seen a few of the fake leather one in junkyards. Always in an Explorer, usually tan with the Eddie Bauer trim. I've never seen one that looked that good.

Sad to report back that the console itself was in great condition. Dirty, but easily cleaned. Unfortunately someone had torn it off the bottom part of the console.

I almost picked it up to see if I could repair it but decided to let it go. Would really like to find one with the vinyl one day. Maybe eBay.
