Odd electrical problem

When I crank my ranger on a cold morning a funny thing happens that's difficult to describe but here goes. On a cold morning when I crank my truck it sounds as if a current is shooting thru the locks in my doors. It only seems to do on a cold morning and only the initial time I crank up. The locks work fine without problem and experience no other electrical problems.
