what would i have to add to a 4.0 v-6 obd-I to obd-II?

what year is the 4.0l from.... mine is 4.0l but uses obd1 cause its a '94. i think after '96?? they changed to odb2... hope that helps. maybe if you search through the tech articles, you will find your answer...

What are you trying to accomplish?

Put an early 4.0 into a 95' or later truck? Or add OBD-II management system to a ECC-IV 4.0?

If it's the first, just strip down the engine and place all the later stuff on it. (intake manifolds, fuel rail, Injectors, CPS, EGR, etc). Throw it in.

If it's the later.......you're in for a treat.

Btw, ECC-IV is a pretty good management system. ECC-V just adds more complication=more problems=more headaches=more $$$.

going from 95 obd 1 to 99 obd 2. but damn thats a lot work. any body wana buy a 99 ranger?
