O.o

I agree, it does look long, but I think it may be an optical illusion. The angle and distance seem odd and the pics are taken to not show much except the vehicle. Plus the rear tire carrier and the fact that you don't see many 1st gen 4 doors anymore probably add to the illusion of length.

All i ever see near me is 4 dr first gens, seeing a 2dr is a rarity. The tire carrier definitely makes it look tons longer.

looks normal to me..?!....?

Same an hour SE of you, 4drs are stupid common. Oddly they seem to be holding out better than the style that followed. 2dr's are really rare, especially a first generation.

And yet somehow my '91 2-door Navajo which is in way better shape than that (spent $2300 in parts and tires alone in the past 1.5 years) can't sell for $1200-$1500 and that guy wants $2k for something that doesn't even have rockers at all. At least I made new ones, lol.

Notice it's not sold yet either.... It's on CL

That's normal. I see the early 90's still running around here and that is how they looked. The next Gens got a bit squat looking. A lot of the early SUV style vehicles looked like that.

I didn't realize my Explorer was so rare. I see the 2 doors fairly often around here.

Parents got $1500 trade in on their '94 with no rockers and 180k miles. :icon_twisted:

I guess it just goes back to where we all are again. 1st gen Rangers are more common here than 1st gen Explorers or 2nd gen Ranger/BIIs, and I just see more sports than FS ones.

While new car shoping for my stepmom, I offered up my truck as a trade in when she bought her car, and the Mazda dealer said they'd give us $500 Mazda loyalty towards a Mazda 3 skyactiv, but no money for trade in. Basically, they were going to give me $500 for me to keep it so they didn't have to deal with it. She didn't even end up liking the Mazda3, the seats didn't do it for her. Ended up ordering a yellow Focus.

Ours sat on the lot over the weekend and has been running flowers for the car dealer owner's wife's flower shop since.

Looks normal to me. One of my friends has a 94 Exploder, there's a bunch at my school. I see an average of 4, 2 door 1st and 2nd gens every single day here. :yahoo:
