My NP 205 is stuck in 4L. theres nothing on the outside that i can see that could be wrong with it, nothing blocking the linkage or anything. could there be something broken on the inside? it drives fine in 4L though.

Make sure none of the pins have come out of the linkage. If nothing has come out then it is probably internal. The fork could have bent, broke, sheared the roll pin off it, or broke something else internally. They are fairly simple for most mechanically inclined. If you do take it out and open it up then would be the perfect time to twin stick it. I have the directions around here somewhere or just google it there are all kinds of pages that tell you how.
