NP 435 to zf5 swap

A friend of mine has a 74 f-350 highboy with I believe an NP435, and he would like an overdrive trans. I was wondering if anyone here has swapped a ZF5 into a 70s ford before, and was wondering what all is involved. It's not an everyday truck, but it gets around enough the overdrive would be really nice.
Any advice or info on that would be greatly appreciated.

I'll have to keep an eye on this thread, I've had brief discussions with dad along these lines, he has a 1979 F-150 with a 4-speed that he would like to change to a ZF-5 to keep the granny first and add the overdrive.
