EBought a blown up ranger(engine) and did the 5.0 swap. Now looking into t-cases. I've read 208f and 4406 have been done as well as others, but I'm either gonna use the 208f or the 4406. I know where there's an 208f sitting on a shelf fixed flange front and rear. Dunno price but should be reasonable. Should also be able to get a 4406 at salvage yard if I decide to go that route. Here's my questions.

Is one smaller/less mods needed to install than the other?
Fuel filter access- what y'all doing for that? I have the 5.0 fuel line from the filter forward, I don't have the rear line. So I'm using the ranger lines right know
On the NP208F, what about front and rear driveshafts? I've read with 4406 you use front shaft from late 90's f150 with 4.6 and 4406 case and some say rear shaft from reg cab short box.

Thanks

edit: truck is the one in my profile- 99 supercab
