Just curious about the np 205 t-case, where can I find one?, better then my stock case, I have a 94 4.0L with stock manual t-case and manual locking hubs, is the np 205 a chain driven or gear driven case?, and if anyone has done the swap is it a big deal?

Any answer would be great!!!

The np 205 is a cast iron gear driven super strong t case.Is your truck all stock?

Truck is not stock.. 4" suspension lift, 2" body lift, 33 MTZ's on 17" I also heard that there is a jeep t-case that will fit any body know anything about that?

Why do you want to put a 205 in? That case is a heavy beast, with a not-so-good low range gear.

Don't want to specifically want to put in a 205 just curious for alternate t-cases that are burlier cause I have a 5.0L I want to swap into the truck and not sure if the stock case can handle the extra torque. I'm open to any suggestions on alternate cases!

The stock case will handle the torque just fine if you gear your axles appropriately for your tires.

I s'pose since you're swapping the engine, you're likely swapping the trans as well, so pretty much any case that would fit a F-150 could be used. Many of these cases are pretty wide though, which would require you to notch your frame for it (IMO, i wouldn't do that). The NP208 I think might fit within the frame however, and has a decent 2.6-something lowrange.

Can I run the stock Mazda M50D-R1 5-speed trans and stock t-case with the 5.0L swap if say I geared the the axles with like 4.10's?.. I'm only running 33's

4.56 is best for a 5.0L on 33s, and should be fine with that setup.
