I have a heavy 4 speed tranny and np 205 in a 94 ranger with 302 wondering what to do for a trans mount that will hold the weight

If youve got the tranny mount that bolts to the tail housing of the tranny, just make a crossmember from tube or square tube.

Since the 205 is over 150lbs itself it requires a separate mount just for the case. This is a pretty nice one that I used as a template to make mine. http://www.tmrcustoms.com/store/ind...id=732&zenid=4983f2ea87801aefba9152f4c88e2ef2

Here is how mine turned out -

You can make a mount like that or use the 3 mounting holes on the side of the case like that factory did. A factory style mount should suffice...the one above is far superior. If you ever do a 203/205 doubler the above mount it pretty much required.

Since we're talking 205's in Rangers, does anyone have a side view pic to show how far under the frame rail a 205 hangs down?

thanks for the pics i will post one of mine asap a little diff but does the job
