The sad thing is that one of the three 'criminals' mentioned in the article will get elected to office. Hmmm.. what's worse? a convicted murderer, a convicted forgerer(sp?) or a convicted drug user? That's terrible those are the only choices you've got. What about one of the other three?

Right now there isnt anybody worth voting for as far as presidential canidates. At least the people running in your city have an actual backround that are 100% facts and cant be twisted around lol. May not be the first choice of people to vote for but i guess, well, your screwed. Dont know what else to say. Only thing I can think of is they had jail time so they know whats its like being the little guy so maybe thats something to look at? Maybe they learned from there mistakes?

Attitudes towards those who have been convicted of a crime is known by everyone. Yet, if you happen to get in trouble & are facing jail time, the first thing that is stated is everyone deserves a second chance to hlp prevent them going to jail.

I happen to know personally several people in my area that have been to prison for non-violant crimes that I would trust far more then some people that are running for office today that will lie to the "big man" himself if they thought they could get into office. People who will lie to your face will stab you in theback faster then anyone & smile while they do it. It's all about "THEM" & to hell with anyone else. Talk is cheap. Actions speak far louder then words.

All I see & hear today by those running for office is "what we can do if they win". NOT "HOW" we are going to do it. Kinda like telling a girl you love her UNTIL you get in her pants & then it's on to greener pastures. If all we have today are the ones running for office, then we are in BIG DAMNED TROUBLE even more then we are now. Things are going to get a lot worse in the next 5 years. We ain't seen nothing yet like it's going to be. And if the Supreme Court rules against the hnoest citizen on gun ownership, all hell is going to break loose. That's gonna mean the government & the criminals are going to have complete & total control over all of us. The ONLY WAY they will get my guns is to pry them from my cold dead hands.

Wow,I'm guessing that the 12-498/287 must be the old Winton motors.In the RR world 567 and 645 rule.Only up until recently the 645's were still supported by EMD.

I don't know.The candidates running for office in Cleveland have the ethics of Enron.Murder,theft and drug abuse...not really good traits for any elected official.Need I say more?

278s are in everything form landing ships, destoryers, tugbats, trains, subs
the 498s were replacements for the 278 but they failed.

Ya see I'm a transplant and Cleveland was the last place I thought I would call home.I've been here long enough for the Mike White(little neopolian)Jane Campbell(spineless and did nothing mayor) and now Frank Jackson(we know we have problems but don't really give a shit to fix it mayor)

Yeah,The 287 and 498 didn't sound like RR engines.I know that the first EMD's were 567-6 went in the SW/SC 1(600 hp) or the 567-16 went into the FT (1350hp)

Aurora ...Hardly......I do get a fair amount of business in the the city however.And yes it is a shithole no doubt about that.
