i took out a leaf spring on each side of my truck to lower the back end bout an inch and a half.. the truck now sits perfectly level and looks bitchen!. and i still never bottem out even wit dirtbike and gear in the bed.

truck is a 2007 xl. 4 cylinder, reg cab short bed.. i wud highly recomend if ur lookin to level

most guys would prefer to level by going up in the front (coil spacers for TTB guys or torsion bar crank for the IFS guys). but that certainly is an option.

personally, id rather stick an add-a-leaf in there and knock the factory lift block out. that should provide about a level ride height, plus less axle wrap and better load control.

His truck doesn't have a block on the rear axle. Only the extra cabs had those I think.

Nah, I'm pretty certain that all the 4x4 rangers came with the blocks in the rear. I have a regular cab, short bed and it had the blocks.

yea all 4x4s had a rear block factory, but a 2007 4-cyl is a 2wd truck so no rear block.
