not starting please help

86 2.9 manual trans

Ok have put in "NEW" distributer, not rebuilt which came complete but had a black instead of grey module which I call Rock auto about and they said it is right one. ran all the checks which don't have answers on what to do when things aren't right so changed the computer. Now it runs but misses a spark every once in a while and depending on how tight she is wound and how much the gas is down can be pretty bad hiccup. Bought the Bosch 1300 analyzer and the OBD 1 connector is so corroded it wont read, so went to my donor B II
and pulled that one to clean up and splice in. dark got me so--any one have this happen and suggestions? new day might help im hoping.

Check the fuel pump relay - I had a similar situation and found the relay contacts full of corrosion when I pilled it apart. The pump wasn't getting enough power. I cleaned the prongs and replaced the relay and it now runs great.
