well it all started last night i drove home from my girlfriends house and stop at the store and it was hard to crank it would just turn over and over, no fire. then i finally got it cranked and drove it home. i get home and started working on then it had the "bad starter celinioed" clicking, about 10 min later it started turning over again, then it clicked again so i changed that, and just went ahead and changed the battery to and it still wont start and i here the starter slammin in but it wont turn or nuthin now i need help now

sorry but thats a verry vague explanation..... it could be any number of things the starter could be one.. or it could be worse some engine internal problem... but from wat you have said i would suggest a ground wire it would cause hard to start situation try that then see wat happens

"you hear starter slamin in" is it grinding or engaing the flywheel the way it is suppose to. mini 272 is correct we need more info.

like mini said you could have a ground issue or a seized engine. you said you replaced the solenoid. do you mean the relay/solenoid on the fender well or the solenoid on the starter. I think you changed the one on the fender. I would pull the starter and have it checked.

im going for like i said the ground first then replace the starter.... then go internal... is at the 90 in your specs... if it is you might have 2 solenoids like i did... so just check some things first and we really do need more info.... you could have more problems

well i held the key on and it started making gargling noise kinda like it was flooded, and i kept on holding it, figured if i blew the motor up its just another ecuse for a 5.0 but it started sputtering and finally it cranked, now i have to turn the key once then let off then it will crank the 2nd time sorry i didnt put enough info i was in a hurry. so thanks to everyone this site is awsome yall were a big help.

your motor was probably hydrolocked which means you prob blew a head gasket

this is getting confusing. so lets try to get this straight. Before the truck would not crank at all ,nothing ,silence except for the starter solenoid engaging. now the truck cranks over and on the 2nd time of cranking it over it starts?

is their anything comin out the tailpipe like smoke or something.... if your engine was hydro-locked it wouldn't start or crank... if theirs no smoke then that's confusing unless it was a ground and while you were messing around wiggled it the right way that is a possibility so check it all cause if its done it once then more than likely it will do it again .... and its usually when your in a hurry

it has a mind of its own, now the truck is just turnin over not cranking, and just turns, i cheched the ground and its good, im stumped.

If you want me to keep helping you. This is what u need to do 1) reread the posts 2) repost with a clear description of the issues being accurate and specific answering the ?'S we asked that pertain to the issue

I don't think it is hydrolocked. I don't think you mentioned anything about going thru water up to your exhaust
