Not Another Turkey Bay Run 7-23-10

Ok members, we have more pics from our latest Turkey Bay run, as well as a few videos. Attending TRS members are RangerSVT (Rick), Railman (John), Jay'94 (Jay), 86 slo-vo (Jon), and 97trailrigDD (Gregg)...
In this pic we have left to right Jay, Gregg (white shirt behind Jay), Jon, Adam (non TRS member, Jon's passenger), and John

And then Jon slides into a hole, rather than get body damage, he decides to winch

Ever wonder what happens to a rim when a rock gets wedged between it and the brake caliper

This did not happen to a TRS member, but this guy was having a bad day, after the passenger side rim gave and he got it changed, He drove another 10 feet and then the driver side did the same thing

And thats how we do it Turkey Bay style!! Any and all members/guests are welcome on our future trips, as we enjoy all 4x4 enthusiasts alike (yeah, even those jeep guys we keep having to rescue!)

Just to let those know how large Turkey Bay is, we looged in almost 30 miles of trails in about 10 hours that day, and covered maybe 1/5 of the trails, not counting the hardcore vertical hill climbs...

Anytime you want to come down for a weekend we have plenty of seats open that you can ride along...Who knows, you might even get the bug and go out and get a 4x4 for your next project

There are more pics with the women in them, but they were purposely deleted from the album viewed by the public. One of our members is the father, and I think of em as my daughter. To protect them, they were not posted to protect them from the "leg humpers"...This thread is about the wheeling trip in Turkey Bay, not a thread about women or the bikinis they wear or how old they are, etc...No offense to you or our TRS members, but would you like a pack of wolves drooling at your daughter??

I had no idea turkey bay was in or near tennessee, Hatman Ithink we need to get in on the next trip. We gotta get your 289 in and get my 4x4 unjammed.

Yup....just about 15 miles from the Tenn. border....prolly 1 1/2 hours west of Nashville ( off I-24 )

I still would like to make it over to Windrock sometime.....

right now the tentative date for the next one is Aug. 14th....

1 hour west of nashville is clarksville tn/ft campbell ky....30 minutes west of clarksville is Dover, TN 30 minutes north of Dover, TN (up the Trace) is Land Between the Lakes/Turkey Bay Off Highway Vehicle... (LBL/Turkey Bay OHV)
