Not Another CTOR Build

its dissassembled right now, i am making set-up bearings for it since i got tired of pressing the carrier bearings on and off it. Didn't have a camera handy.

Top Left was my first pattern

Then Bottom Left was my last pattern

And about 3 different patterns in between

I'll go back into work tomorrow with a clear head and hammer it out

There my D44 gears are set-up....now i just need to buy new carrier bearings and steal the locker from the Explorer D44 and it'll be good to roll.

Awesome, glad you got it done.

I was considering USA Standard due to cost, and called Randy's R&P to see what they had to say about em. They said they've never had any complaints with getting a good pattern/being noisy/etc. I'm no gear pro by any means so I just went with the Yukons to be safe. They have a good reputation for a reason. I knew I'd be frustrated enough trying to get a good pattern, I didn't need it to be any more difficult than it had to be.

Have you got a carrier bearing puller? I priced em out a while a go and decided $40 to make setup bearings was more in my budget lol.

i have a bearing puller and a press at work..but the carrier didn't fit between the rails on the press.

Had to steal part of the floor on the B2 to repair the body mount brace on the ranger cab, kinda sidelined me for a few hours. Couldn't get as much done as i wanted to today.

Got the cab on the frame though, lots of work still to do though.

I did get a truss and welded it on (before i put the axle under the frame).

Both have stock B2 wheel base. No way around it your going to have to put the mini tub in to clear the rear tires. The Silver/green/oxide/rust one was on 35's and the blue one will have 33's or 34's not sure.

Where it sits right now with the 35's on it i have about 1" of interference with the tub......With the way my bumper is i can move the rear shackle another 6-7"s rearward. I think i will just barely clear the 38's.......I hope :dunno:

yeah temp. for my 5 yr old son.....in a few months he probably won't fit int he back anymore

What is the length of tube on the arms? I plan to extend mine in the same fashion, still hunting for decent priced DOM. I think where my frame mounts need to be, I'll have a ~40-42" tube.
