(Not an RBV) My Dakota.

Teach her to drive a stick, everyone should know how anyways.

V8 5 speeds are pretty rare, they didn't start using the 5 speed with V8s until 94 so that can help narrow your search. V6s and 5 speeds are fairly common, mileage will be similar or a little better than my truck.

So I pulled the t-case today. The problem is that the snap ring on the output shaft came off (common problem with the NP231 I hear) so the whole shaft was moving back and forth. Took the t-case all apart and made sure nothing else was damaged, put the snap ring on then tack welded it in place. So nice to drive my truck again!

Well, truck is down again for at least another week, turbo needs a rebuild.

Well I half expected it, Holset turbo from Ebay with who knows how many miles on it. I put 7k+ on it myself. I ordered a rebuild kit for it, doesn't look too difficult.

If I find a 2wd Dakota for a new DD I'd like to build a front mount setup for it, using a T-67 or a T-70.

Dude, your turbo'd Dakota is sick. Keep up the good work.
Thanks.

It's still down. I rebuilt the turbo a couple weeks ago, turns out the scavenge pump is dying, so I bit the bullet and bought the best one you can get, should have it up and running again early next week.

Got the new Turbowerx Exa-pump installed on monday, I love being able to drive my truck :headbang:

Thanks, Aero Turbine mufflers are worth every penny :icon_thumby: It sounds even better with the turbo though, here's a short powerbrake video in the driveway.

Thanks guys. I need to kick my own ass though. Got used to driving my B2 and filled up my truck the other day with 87 octane instead of 92, so I can't really have any fun till I burn through all this shit :buttkick:
