one of my sisters friends from school just died in a car accident about an hour ago...he was only 18.


i seen the accident after it happened on my way to town. the cops had the road blocked off and i didnt think anything of it at the time. then when i got home my sister was in tears saying that he died 20 minutes ago in the hospital. apparently his girlfriend was there at the hospital texting my sister and she got a text saying that he wasnt breathing.....

christ, i got the chills goin down my spine just typing this.


as the title states, im not a religious man but tonight i will be praying for the degraves family....


R.I.P. Devin Degraves...your life was cut short way too early, you will be missed.

Just found out there was 2 other kids in the truck.....theyre in critical condition.

the doctors dont expect the kids to live through the night. punctured hearts, internal bleeding.


i didnt even know the kids and i feel horrible, i just have this image stuck in my head of the parents goin to wake up there kids in the morning and just walking into an empty room.

i cant even imagine.

seen the car on the news this morning, it was a ford explorer and oh my god there wasnt even 1 salvageable part on it. imagine smashing a pop can and then trying to un-smash it, then multiply that effect times 100.


the two in the hospital are still hanging on this morning, hope they pull through.

I saw my first dead person when I lived in Africa as a kid. I was in the 5th grade. My dad was in the USAF as a pilot and were in the Condo and Kenya for 7 years. We were in our market place in the Congo and over to the right of the market place is a small prison and they had just hung a man, and I saw it over the tall stone walls. My mom and dad realized what was going on ...but too late...I saw the guy jerking around on the rope. He was a murderer and after I understood about his crime it did not hurt as much.

When my/our son Blake was murdered by an illegal mexican, my wife & I literally wanted to die...but we have 2 other children...so....we lived....it's terrible....pray a lot for the children, the parents & yourself.....

Jesus was my last resort.......now he's my first choice...I'm counting on Heaven to keep my son safe til I see him again....

they were comin up a hill on the old highway(directly inline with the newer highway just not used very much) and to the left just after the crest of the hill there is a sandpit that everybody rides there quads at. and as they came over the hill there was a truck unloading a dirtbike or somethin and they swerved, the tire must have caught traction and they started to flip and ended up in the ditch hitting a bunch of trees.


as far as i know, there still holding on in the hospital but there status has remained the same.
