Hello all! I've been here for a month or so, but haven't really used the boards. I joined up because of the great tech information on this board!

I have an '88 Ranger xcab 4x4 currently with a mostly dead 2.9/5spd. "soon" to be 4.0 OHV/auto. He's just the work horse, parts fetcher, old reliable, ugly truck - Nothing special.

I've taught myself what little I know about working on cars, and the 4.0 will be my first engine swap, so I'm pretty excited....now, if I can get my health straightened out long enough to get it done.

The build has yet to go anywhere actually. I bought a 91 parts truck from a guy in Rutledge. His son ran into a HOUSE so at the moment they're both just sittin' in the yard.

At this point the issue is health and free time. I've done a lot of research and I think it won't be a biggy once I am able to do it.
