I want to put a steel braided extended brake line on my truck. Some brands say do not use with ABS, and others don't mention anything. What's the difference?

The rear line?....nothing different that Im aware of.
The front has a t-block for the drivers to fit models without ABS. They say they dont fit vehicles with 4WABS, but they do....just dont use the t-block. Being yours is a 89, you dont have to worry about that.
I use skyjacker stainless braided lines and highly recommend them.
