I have a 99 Ranger 3.0 V6 4wd AT. Recently purchased purchased some manual locking hubs. Ive had them on there for about 2 weeks. They work great. I had to lock them in this morn, i got out the truck to free the hubs, but while i was stopping the truck to disengage i heard a high pitch screech coming from what sounded like the front end as applied the brakes. Got out the truck, freed the hubs, and tried to replay the scenario as it had just happened. But no high pitched noise. Instead i heard kinda like a creaking sound. Now as apply the brakes i hear that same noise just about every single time, as well as occasionaly when i slowly accelerate. Any ideas on either noise? are they possibly related? Any help is much appreciated. Thanks.
