Noise inside cab?

1989 4x4 xlt 2.9 auto extended cab.Recently I have developed a chirp sound when I put the truck into gear and into reverse also chirps when I hit bumps.The noise sounds like it comes from the pass rear of the cab inside.I took out the pass seat thinking that was the problem,didn't stop.I have pushed,rocked.checked the jump seat, removed the jack in the jump seat area. Got underneath didn't see any obvious loose cab bolts Pushed up from underneath and cannot makes the chirp noise.Sorry for the long rambling post I desparatley need help this is driving me nuts.Any tips would be nice.Thanks.Btw the sound is not contineuos(spelling?)

My only guess would be U-joints and of course they are outside the cab- does it get any louder when the window is down?

I replaced the u-joints and still have the chirp inside the cab,Has anyone ever had this problem? I need help

Rusty floor board? My guess would be cab monts going out and you hear the metal grinding metal noise like maby bolts coming up through floor or somthing.

I am thinking the same as you Just have not felt good enough to take everything apart in the cab to get to the bolt heads. Underneath I cannot see any rust or a problem except that with a wrench I can turn the cab bolts on both the rear bolts.Just don't know. Also thought I might have a broken spring don't know if that would chirp or not. Thanks for your reples keep them coming.
