I've read and read and read and can't seem to narrow it down. My truck out of the blue started making a rough vibration on start, like the strips when coming up to a stop sign, and when accelerating fast, making a loud and shuttering noise, it is heard more when turning corners, it's almost like a grinding noise. I don't even know where to start. I've read from u-joints, to steering stabilizers, to clutch packs, to something to do with the exhaust. It's definitely coming from the rear end. Any help would be very appreciated. Thank you.

edit-it's a limited slip, 8.8, 3.73 gears

Check motor mounts. It shouldn't be any different when turning, but you hadn't mentioned them yet.

It's definitely coming from the rear end.

I missed this last part.

If it's not joints, not drive shaft, not tires, not bearings, and you're sure it's coming from the rear end, it's time to crack it open and take a look.

A poster had an issue with their rearend just yesterday and there's advice on what to look for in the driveshaft and rearend. You should be able to find some good references on here to diagnose the rear. To start, I would personally jack up the truck properly and turn the rear wheels to see if I could find/feel the issue with it sitting in my driveway.

From the Ford Forum link you posted:
"I messed up something in the rear end or transfer case by running the truck with an off-sized tire and mine is full time AWD."

The breather hose shouldn't affect anything. I still think you need to check the rearend, because otherwise this is all just speculation. Btw, does this sound happen the entire time you're driving or just for small amounts of time?

I changed the tcase fluid, and it calmed it down a lot. It's not that bad now, but it's still there.. any ideas besides driveshaft?

sounds like there was water contamination in the rear diff...

"that did it" so the vibration is gone?

Yessir. It's gone! Now I await to get a window replaced and she'll be back on the road, haha. Thank you everyone for the help
