I haven't had tail lights for a couple weeks now. My brake lights, signal/hazard, and back up lights work but no parking lights. I checked the fuses, bulbs, plugs. I replaced the headlight switch, still no lights. Any ideas? I already got pulled over and got a warning so I have to get them working soon. Thanks.

Look for a 16-pin connector on the fender liner below the brake master cylinder; this is the harness going to the rear of the truck containing the lighting wires. You're looking for the brown parking light wire in this connector. Check for +12v on this wire with the parking lights on. If there is power there follow the wire towards the rear of the truck, checking it until you find it with no power (lights on). That will locate where the problem is. If you don't have lights-on power on the brown at the 16-pin connector, follow it toward the front of the truck, again checking for power. Sounds like you've got an open circuit on the rear lights branch of the brown wire. Look for nicks or breaks, or corrosion, in the wire and terminals, and good luck.

Thanks for the advice. I'm going to give it a try and see what happens.
