Ok so if you've seen my other posts you know I've swapped interiors of e explorers. Had a some issues and resolved them, now I'm having another issue. Drove it down to my fads house and everything was good, in the way back i didn't have blinkers or window control. Tested the window wipers and they were out too. I noticed the voltage had tanked and was dropping and barely made it home on battery power. I charged the battery and this morning i checked all fuses, relays, and terminal connections and it still has no spark or fuel. Is there another common failure spot in these

Check all your grounds. That is where I would start. Your electrical system needs to a ground to function correctly. Clean and or replace and report with your findings.

Honestly not even sure of what grounds to check at this point. I did notice the vibration and impact sensor wires had been previously cut or torn, could that be causing a problem?

If it looks like a problem, it is always worth looking into. All the grounds go down to the frame or the engine block I believe.

blinkers, windows, wipers are all Key ON powered devices.

Do Brake lights work?
Parking lights?
These should work with key OFF

When you turn on the key does the Battery Light come on?
It should

In 1993 there should be a Power distribution Post on inner fender, looks like the old starter "solenoid"(relay), two large posts
Positive battery cable will hook up to one post, and several other wires will be on that same post.
Those wires are from alternator and Engine Fuse box, that connection needs to be clean and dry, or no power and no charging

Yeah all those work now that it has a fresh charge. I've cleaned every connection i could find with a wire brush including the solenoid on the passenger fender well. I even swapped over the ecm to see if that helped and nothing

So power is back on to windows and wipers, but no spark.

Just to confirm no spark add fuel in intake manually, and try to start
i.e. spray Quick Start(ether) or gasoline into intake
A 50/50 test

If it doesn't start then check coil pack's 4 wire connector.

Then open engine fuse box and pull out ECC Relay and put it back in

Check CKP(crank) sensor, near crank pulley passenger side

And then check EDIS-6 module, rad support, can be engine side or front side, check connector.

Bad CKP sensor or bad EDIS-6 module are the only things that can cause No Spark, in 1993 ECM doesn't do spark

Ok so i got it to work somehow. I took the fuse box in the engine bay completely apart and cleaned it, that seems to have done the trick somehow. Yeah next step was going to be to swap the crank sensor, then check for power with the multi meter. Either way more knowledge for when i finally find a good ranger
