Was about to take my 1996 Ranger XLT to get state inspection done when wife told me none of the reverse lights worked. I found it odd that all 4 (one on each side, and one on either side of the cabin brake light) would go out all at once. I did the quick and cheap thing first, and replaced some bulbs in multiple locations....no dice. Checked fuses.....no dice. I'm wondering why the lights don't know when I put the truck in reverse? Is there a contact switch or something that could have randomly gone bad? Please help! Thanks.
