How does the Fuel pressure behave on your ranger under boost? When i get above 2-3lbs the pressure is all over the board. I had a feeling this was the case since the motor seemed way under powered. it makes boost but i dont feel any pull. i can see the pressure increasing but the power seems done. If you are running the stock regulator do you have to change out the pump. I have both the stock pumps running now but i was wondering if i should remove the in-line pump and run a walboro in-tank pump and increase the flow. Also do you run the stock fuel filter, or did you upgrade to a less restrictive one? I finally got my bov to work but now i am finding out that the a/f mixture is leaning way out under boost. Has anyone made/bought an adapter to replace the stock fpr with an aftermarket one and still use the stock fuel rail?

yea i got an areomotive fpr on mine adapted it and still using the stock rail ill get you some pictures of how i did it...

wat kind of injectors are you using and octane rating on your gas

are you running your stock fuel pump and all that?

I run a stock FPR, 255lph in tank, stock fuel filter, removed in line pump.

Aftermarket FPR is absolutely unnecessary.

FP should raise 1:1 with boost, if it's not, there is a problem somewhere.

i don't know if this will help but when i put a supercharger on my 87gt it would not run right either. it backfired and acted bad,i had to put a check valve in the vac line going to the map senser. what the prob was the computer didnt know what to think with boost only vac.i used a windshild washer check valve from advance auto. after i installed it the car ran great.

OK thanks all. I am going to remain with the stock fpr, and put a 255lph pump in the tank. I run premium gasoline, 105 octane i think. My map sensor is out of the tbird so i think it knows what to do with pressure. Davis, how did you remove the in line pump? did you run a new line or some sort of adapter to replace the pump? do you have the cartridge filter where both lines are filtered or the typical type where only one line is filtered?
