I have a SHITY MUTHER****IN PEICE OF SHIT CRAPOMATIC A4LD (venting over)and my overdrive, is gone the best i can tell my overdrive band broke. has anyone else ever had this happen

Breaking of bands is common in the A4LD...also could be a bad servo piston that applies the band.

thanks bruce do you know if that can cause excess heat to build up. i have been driving in drive lately thinking that with a 5000 pound vehicle the tranny could use a break from OD stress (i have 3.27 gears and 31in tires)
