Check the oil filter relocation kit. Make certain that the lines are in the correct port. Back in the day, I had the same problem after installing a new kit. Turns out that I had the lines switched. Inlet to inlet and so on.

i was thinking i had them switched. When the motor was in the truck it was inlet to inlet and outlet to outlet. Shouldn't it be opposite like Outlet to Inlet and Outlet to Inlet? Outlet out the motor...inlet into the filter...outlet out the filter...inlet to the motor??

Yup. You were feeding oil the wrong way and it got all clogged up.

I did the Exact same thing with my filter relocation, and did what you are now currently doing. Tearing apart the engine wondering WTF?!?!
It sucks, but this may well be your problem.

thats exactly how i felt...tearing it all apart seeing nothing wrong...it made me want to give up on it and then i figured out the oil filter problem. Thx for the tips!

Yep! Good call D'cheat. The people that make our oil filters don't call 'em "back flow preventers" for nothing. It's kinda' difficult to push oil backwards through a check valve.
