Hi!
I have been trying to troubleshoot my Ranger 2007 manual transmission, 3.0 L 2X4 for a couple of weeks now. I was wondering if I could get some help.
My knowledge in mecanics is low
Problem:
When I put the heat on with the hot setting, air flows normally out the vents but I get no heat or only about 10% heat as usual.
Things I know:
*Thermostat is fine since truck engine operates in normal temperature range
*I seem to have enough coolant
*I tried to "burp" my cooling system (Idle for 20 minutes with no radiator cap on)
*Blower fan is ok
*A/C seems to work fine
*When truck is warmed up, I touch the plenum under the dash board where the heater core is located and it's hot (I think this means that the heater core is not clogged and is hot)
What could the problem be? Any ideas???
Much appreciated!!!
