No fuel pressure AFTER fuel filter change...read for hours, no luck

You can always unhook the return line at the rail, and hit the key. You should get at least something out.

Disconnect the fuel line at the regulator and put it in a glass jar and cycle the key if you get good fuel flow. Was it having issues before you changed the filter? Maybe you pushed a chunk of crap into the regulator when you changed the filter?

Took the return line off the fpr and turned the key on and off many times and tried starting. Got nothing. Took the fpr off to check it out.

If the fpr is off and I keep turning the ignition on and off, should fuel eventually come out of the rail where the fpr goes in? Cause it's not.

Yes fuel should be coming out.
Can you take off the fuel filter end and blow into the fuel rail end(put a hose on it), that might tell you if it is clogged from debris from old filter.

When removing the old filter parts of screens may have broken off and got into end of fuel line.

Finally got back to this rust bucket and changed the fuel pump....cha ching! Fuel came shooting out of the filter end instead of drizzling out. Hooked everything up, flipped the key on and off a dozen times or so and then fired right up!

Thanks again for the help guys. Now off to break something else...
