I know this isnt the brake section but seems nobody looks at the secton alot. I had this problem on may 24 weekend, that when i would go to hit the brakes on the trail it would go to the floor an would barely slow me down, but then other times you ll hit the brakes an they will be perfect nice an firm. i figured my brake fluid was just brutally dirty so i re bleed the system put new fluid in an new rear brakes, but i pulled the truck outta the garage an once again push it right to the floor to slow down. But when i turned the truck around hit the brakes an they work perfect. I dont know its wierd. Anybody got any idea on what would cause this?

Bad master maybe.

sounds like a bad master pump. the b3000 my grandfma had did that and it turned to be the master.

alright thanks alot. so do those just unbolt an pull out of the brake booster?

also while i got this brake post up can anyone tell me how to hook the e brake cable up to the foot pedal? my truck is a 92 ranger xlt ive searched an just coudnt find any thread about how it hooks in.

ya it just unbolts, before you put the new one on measure the push rod from the face of the booster to the end of the push rod it should be between .980-.995 inch. and be sure to bench bleed the master before installing it or you it will be hell getting it to bleed.
