Hello all,
On my 2000 B2500, 106k miles, I've been having this problem:
As it has started getting colder here in Texas (60 degrees is cold here, lol) I've been experiencing this wierd electrical problem. Normally, when I start the truck, the ABS and Airbag light come on for a brief second or 2, then go off. However, when the truck is cold, and it's colder outside (sub 65 degrees or so) these lights come on, but don't go off. Also, when this occurs, I have no blinkers (hazards work though), and no blower. If I wait for the truck to warm up a bit and turn it off, then turn it back on - everything works.
I have a Haynes repair manual - but I've not been able to track any of the included electrical schematics for these systems down to a single point of failure (relay, fuse, etc.) It seems like the systems are unrelated, but I don't have a very detailed schematic for a Mazda b2500 specifically (the Haynes does say that they are just general schematics, not necessarily specific).
I seem to remember finding a Mazda b2500-specific electrical diagram somewhere, but I can't seem to find it anymore. Does anyone have a link to this information, or can help point me in the right direction?
Thanks!
