I've had quite a few posts and PM's asking to see pictures of my truck, yes I am the poster formally known as 1badb2. I havent had alot of time to be online in the last year and a half since I joined the army, Im currently PCS'ing to Ft. Polk, LA (sucks I know) but it is what it is...

Here are two previous "forms" it was in, that the older board members will remember.

basically the truck held up to about as much as it could and was literally falling apart... I now have nothing of the original truck left other than part of the shell.

Most recent pics while I've been home on TDY/Leave... I'm towing the B2 back to ft polk with me.

cool to see you back on, clearly didn't rec. the truck from the 1badb2 days. Never would have put the two together had you not said something. Truck is killer.

What a Boring truck, Justin. haha j/k.

Good to see your still around and kicken. Not much has changed with the truck in the past year anyway. Atleast that I have seen.

Guess you'll once again need to change your username since your no longer in New Mexico.

the front axle swap was not finished... it was able to sit and move around under its own power slowly and that was about it. Needed steering finished, front d-shaft made, castor fixed, shackles finished, ect....

i also just got the parts for OBA, got an 800watt inverter, got a TBI setup.

I think ill keep the name NMB2... its a new mexico crawler:headbang:

Thanks for serving. My friend was stationed down there for a while. Truck looks so badass from the front with the full width. What are the specs on that monster and what are you using for leafs?

Any reason to the semi float 60 rear? I was under the impression they were weaker.

thanks for keeping our country safe and i hope you keep working on that sweet truck can't wait to see whats next

Any reason to the semi float 60 rear? I was under the impression they were weaker.

mainly weight and its what i had that was already 35spline.

why would it be weaker? Weight being on the axle shafts instead of a wheelbearing doesnt change the yeild or failing point of the shaft twisting... two completely different forces. and im sure this 3500lb truck is well within the axles carrying abilities.

just a picture of the inverter i have in it.

Nice work man.

I like the fact that you still have the 2.8, I still got my 2.9, I think thats why. LOL.

I remember ya from a few moons back. Glad to see your rig is progressing nicely.

posing in Ft. Hood TexAss. dropped in on my way to Polk to say Hi to my buddy and we went messing around on their ORV area.

Man, it really dwarfs that trailer. Did you bust shafts and replace em with the alloys or just put em in for extra beef? Also ive heard the D.D. doublers are not made anymore, any truth to that? The atlas sure is pricey, if I could get a doubler made for less i would go for it.

i just fully built the 60's from the start because i had the money. Yes and No to the doublers, he doesnt keep them in stock like he used to because the RBV group doesnt really buy much, but he still sells them.
