nice tow rig


I want one.......but i would convert it to 4x4 and use it as a recovery vehicle with a rear mounted 12k winch. Effin sweet.....my dream ranger.
 
Im supprized nobody's said anything about the dual tanks. Thats the first thing I noticed. :icon_thumby:
 
that orange one, it looks like he used chevy dually flairs. if its custom made, i say good job..looks factory
 
They do look good to me, but as was stated, it's a weak Ranger axle made weaker by adding the extra wheels outside of the center of the wheel bearings.

Early Toyota-based motorhomes were converted like this by USA RV manufacturers. After people started wrecking them, Toyota quietly began replacing the orignal axles with real full-floating dually axles. Then they shipped the new chassis with these axles and matching fronts.

You can find the real dually Toyota axles on Ebay sometimes. Or you could swap in a SRW full-floater and run a fat single tire and use the wheel flair kit. It would have the look and be totally functional for heavy hauling.
