Hey guys,
My names Jake, and i joined this site when i bought my 89 Ranger XLT 4x4 with a 2.9. this pickup has immaculate interior, near perfect exterior (only two VERY SMALL dents, both popped right out.) and only had 140,000miles on her when i picked her up, and i only paid $1,000! However, after a few months of driving, the 2.9 started having problems, so i just decided to cut my losses and drop the 4.0 in her. I also plan on dropping the dana 28 in the front for the Cherokee Dana 35, and the 7.5 for an explorer 8.8 with disc brakes. I also have a 1976 F150 with a 390 with only 200miles on the rebuild, and a 4speed. Dana 44 in the front, ford 9" in the back, 4 inch lift, sitting on 35inch Mickey Thompson-steel belted.
I love messin with my rigs, and i LOVE 4x4in! I am glad i joined this site, it's already been one of the biggest assets for me while fixing my Ranger. See you all in the Forums.
