Nice super cab V8 for sale

My only issue with that truck is the 7.5 rear end can't possibly handle tires that big with V-8 motivation for Long or with much abuse.... why go through all the trouble to build up everything else to only leave the rear end alone?

^^^what he said. Run it till it blows and then add the 8.8!!!

Even the 8.8 would break, you need no less than 60's with a v8

Nah, I don't think many of you realize that a 4.0 OHV is almost as hard on axles as an old 302, and that one doesn't sound too hot. A lot of it's driver, too. It's probably down on torque from too much carb for a stockish engine anyways. We had a member running a sweet 302 crate motor in a regular cab on a dana 35 and a 7.5, and it held together on 33's and made 315whp. That motor saw a lot of rev-limter, too, with a 5-speed and a crazy driver - and welded spiders.
