Check this clean, I believe, F250, long as an aircraft carrier. Dual tanks, 4x4, two-tone paint. If those are stock wheels someone might be able to tell the year.

"Alcoa" is nit a nickname but a Brand name. Like "Center Line" or "Cragar". Alcoa's can be commonly found on Dump Trucks and other large Equipment Movers. The big shiny Aluminum ones.

My '92 was my favorite vehicle I've ever owned. Just enough tech to take advantage of EFI, better power and MPG then previous, but not much else.

I daily drove mine up until the day it go rear ended going to work and was totaled. 250k miles or so.

It looks like 250 or 350. Those are nice expensive wheels.

92 - 96 for sure. From the outside you cant really tell unless the sticker changed a little but very solid dependable trucks

I heard the trim down the side stopped in '96, my '97 doesn't have that, and you can see the powerstroke emblem under the FX50 so it's at least a '94.5 and if those wheels started in '95 then it's a '95-96, I think that body style could be had in both an F250 and F350 though, crew cab short beds were F250 and long bed crew cabs were all F350...

In all my "big truck" shopping, I decided that only the F350 had a crew cab option for the 9th gens. Never once found a F250 crew cab. Excellent trucks tho. Would have gotten one if the 2nd gen Dodge's Cummins wasn't slightly better than Ford's International. I hear that EVERYTHING else is worse with the Dodge tho.

Yup, that’s a 92-97 (96 for the 150, 97 for 250 and up). 95-97 had a drivers airbag. Not sure about what other odds and ends may have changed mid production. Those are known as OBS (Old Body Style) which seems to be an accepted term for those and older. Specifically that’s known as the Aero-nose style. 88-91 were the Brick-nose and 80-87 were Bull-nose. Out of those, I liked the Bull and Aero nose styles the best, but I spent a lot of time behind the wheel of a Brick nose when I did concrete construction and man did that beast run, an 89 F-350 dump with a 460, ZF5 and 4.10s. Ford rebuilt the motor at about 30k because of a persistent oil consumption problem and in that vintage Ford experimented with RV cams in the 460s. So I don’t hate the style because there might be something a little extra under the hood, lol.

I own two of the Aero-nose, 94 F-350 and 95 F-150. Love them both, they look pretty sharp cleaned up for sure. Not long after I got my F-150 I scored a set of those Alcoa alloys. Found a listing on Craigslist that was like 4 weeks old and called on the off chance they still had them. When I asked if they were still available, the guy sounded pretty angry and said yeah, still got the f***ing things, tired of tripping over them in the garage, $40 and they’re yours. I’m getting in the truck right now, which way am I pointing it?

Wish I would have been able to get a pic of the one that used to run around here, haven’t seen it in a few years. Extended cab crew cab long bed. Yes, you read that right. 4 doors, 6 side windows. Looked Fn sweeeet!

Oh, and look up Gwaii on here, somewhere should be his build thread, among other things he made a double crew cab long bed in this vintage.

I don't know the gens of them, but my boss had a '96 F250 crew cab short bed powerstroke auto up until about a year ago but he sold it when the market was high since he didn't really have a use for it and it was too clean to use... so I know they exist, pretty much the only difference between F250 and F350 in those is overload leaves in the back, 4" blocks in the back instead of 2" blocks and a solid Dana 60 front axle instead of a TTB D50...

My '97 F350 has been around the block (odometer shows like 356k miles and has had at least 3 owners and a reconstructed title from the gooseneck coming unhitched at one point in it's life) but it doesn't have a drivers side airbag in the steering wheel and there's no airbag light on but they could have pulled the bulb and changed the steering wheel, haven't looked for the sensors... I still need to put about 3k into that engine between injectors, HPOP and getting an intercooler in there it should get woken up, but then of course I need to put a better clutch in it...

Close, F150's were that body style from 92-96, F250/350 stuck with it through December 97. The 99 Super Duty 250/350/450 went into production January 2nd,1998.

Thats a 95-97 F250/350. Same color scheme as my 97. The darker green didnt come about till 95. Looks to be a PSD 4wd. If i could see the tailgate i could tell you if its a 95/6 or 7. Assuming its factory gate.

Same config as my 97 to. Only mines 2wd. Yes they have a turning radius similar to an ocean liner.

None of the trucks over 8500GVW in those years had an airbag. The 150/LD250 got driver side airbag in 94.

You can also spot a 94+ by looking at the bottom of the door, theyll be an indent where they added a bar or something in the door for safety. 94+ will also have a 3rd brakelight.

Also those are factory wheels. They started in 95. But will fit any 8 lug ford clear back to atleast the 60's

Also forgot to add the 97 250/350 OBS trucks will have "heavy duty" on the fender badge, unlike 92-96 that will say "XL or XLT"
