whats better, 2.3L or 2.5L?
the variables are:
reg cab short box 2wd no a/c 5spd
94-97 2.3L and 98-? 2.5L

I want to know, from experience on both sides, what the pros and cons are..NO GIRLISH ARGUING!!!!!!!!!!

I had a 95 2.3L and loved it..great fuel mileage, ok power, easy to fix.
What i know about the 2.5L..only made a few years, more power than the 2.3L, and thats about it. thanks!

it was made from 98-00, but some 01 have it too.
almost the same, only difference is that it has a bit more power, keep it with stock- almost stock tires and it will do burnouts pretty easy. and the growl sound the 2.3 has when revving it,well, the 2.5 sounds bigger lol. easier to catch speed with it, easier than a 2.3(with a 5spd)
cons are: drinks a bit more gas than the 2.3 and the valves tend to tickle a bit.
