I'm going to look at a cap for my 1990 Ranger shortbed. The seller had it on a 1999 Ranger shortbed. He supplied measurements of 60x75 inches, which is about what my bed measured. My only concern is that I know Ford changed the exterior bed profile in 93, and I'm wondering if the width is going to be correct.

Anyone ever compared measurements of the two body styles or tried putting a newer cap on an older bed?

if you check out my car domain link both caps i have pictured on there have the same measurement of 60x75 inches. so you can get an idea that it fits my '04 fine they really haven't changed the inside bed measurement just the thickness of the bed rail. both caps came off a gen 2
