I am swapping in a 98 4.0 from an explorer to my 95 ranger which also was a 4.0, everything was going fairly well when I discovered the wiring harness was different for the camshaft position sensor. Upon doing some research I figured that to make it right I should just get a new camshaft synchronizer. Well the new one came in today right wiring harness, but it is different enough that I am not sure how to install close to were the old one is set. I am worried about doing damage when I finally try to fire it up.
